Canton. bericht van Chad. Shocked

Received the shocking news about the Canton Peregrine Cam today, that it is off.
All I know is that the business is closed that resided in the upper floors of the building. So the service that ran the live feed is disconnected.
I have to say, it has been a huge part of my life to watch the cam, when it went "live" back in 2012, and I really APPRECIATE ALL the PEOPLE that worked to make that happen and kept it "happening". I Know they love M&M too.
In a new era of political uncertainty, this seems fitting that this happened.
The changes coming are reflective of this, as many of the well loved live cams are shutting down across the nation.
Although sad, this is a typical change for what the wildlife has to go through in this nation. They are at the whims of what people decide for them, as well as the followers that come with the whims.
The peregrines are recovered from endangered status in Ohio, now, which is what the goal was, in the USFW Service and the states' Division of Wildlife. What a GREAT thing to accomplish!!!
THAT was what my ( and everyone who pay's taxes) tax dollars did!!
I will still follow the M's "in person" of course, and photograph them, and the changes that occur in their situation. Things may end up unpleasant, or they might end up even better than it is currently.
Time will tell All.
The last video I got to record of Mystic, is included with this post. The cam went wonky and stopped about two hours later, at 2:05pm. She had not laid egg three by then, so we will have to wait until close to fledge time to observe how many babies they had this year.
