Calling all #nrperegrines followers @nrw_cathedral. Are you wondering what’s happening with the upgrade of the nest cams? Then read on. Most of you will know that back in September we posted that the old cameras were going to be upgraded and therefore needed to be removed. This has been done and a temporary camera put in place – streaming to our web site. Since then MUCH work has been carried out selecting, testing and re-engineering new cameras and their mounts, using the replica nest box as a test bench. For all sorts of technical reasons this has been far from straightforward but real progress is being made. We hope to reinstall the new cameras on the proper box before too much longer and think you will be happy with the result.
