Just a couple quick pics of the events of the late evening. Kat saw Maurice drop in with prey, and as usual, Mystic flew over to take it, even though Deux and Kaksi were right there. Kaksi ran over to the adults while the transfer occured, then Maurice took off. Kaksi grabbed the food and yanked it from Mystic. Deux watched from the concrete block until Mystic finally reclaimed the food from Kaksi, and then fed both down in the gutter out of sight. Afterward she flew off, and the light faded with Kaksi and Deux at the end of the gutter with full crops.
After dark settled, they disappeared down into the gutter, and surprisingly to me, Both M's went up in their roost in the cubby. I figured Mystic would stay outside and guard. Perhaps she fly's outside after dark and does. Her and Maurice had quite the conversation going on up in the cubby. It went on longer than I have ever heard them. Great end to a successful day!
